Small Business Administration (SBA) – Disaster Assistance in Response to the Coronavirus

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development is assisting the Nevada Department of Emergency Management (DEM) and Small Business Administration (SBA) to collect information on the impacts to small businesses as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In order to estimate the economic impact of COVID-19, DEM is requesting small businesses to complete Economic Injury Worksheet Form describing how the business suffered a substantial economic injury as a result of the disaster and need financial assistance not otherwise available on reasonable terms.

It is important to note this is not an application for funds and doesn’t not guarantee loan approval.

Once forms are submitted, DEM and SBA emergency management will take necessary steps in the process. The purpose of this worksheet is to clearly document the impacts to small businesses.

It is important to include any insurance coverage a business owner may have. If the impacted business insurance does not cover the need, they still may be eligible for assistance.

Please fully complete forms and submitted to Susan Coyote scoyote@dps.state.nv.us and Kelli Anderson kanderson@dps.state.nv.us.
